Light Tanks
Light Tanks... my greatest joy and frustration in World of Tanks. You start out in the most humble of Light Tanks and progress to some truly awesome tanks that can be the bane of the largest Heavy Tanks in the game.
For example, the Chaffee (<-----) is my all time favorite Scout Tank in-game. I actually had an IS-7 and a E-100 shoot each other as I passed between them (back when Chaffees had to endure Tier X battles).
The hardest part of playing Light Tanks is knowing how to stay alive. A Light Tank that is not mobile is a destroyed Light Tank. Always keep a repair kit on-board in your consumables as well as a first aid kit for your driver. The most important equipment in a Light Tank (for Scouting) is your tracks, engine, and radio. Train your crewmen for those positions accordingly. Never drive in a straight line when sighted by the enemy. Learn the "dance" of circling an enemy and when to reverse to stay out of his aim. You can further train your commander for Recon to improve sight range, equip optics (for immobile scouting), train all crew in the camoflauge perk, purchase camoflauge for your tank (external servicing in your garage), and by all means... buy a camoflauge net!
These things will improve your scouting and overall play in Light Tanks.
